STEAM Playbook

 In honor of National STEAM/STEM Day, The Chick-fil-A College Football Hall of Fame announces its new STEAM Playbook, which provides a resource for educators to combine the passion for football with learning in an interactive and immersive way.  

STEAM, which stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Mathematics, is an educational movement challenging the way educators think about traditional teaching and learning. It aims to not only prepare young people for their future but enable them to become thoughtful, creative students along the way.  

“As a parent, I understand we are at a pivotal moment in education and need to reimagine how students learn by providing meaningful, hands-on learning experiences. Our new “T.E.A.M.S.” Playbook creates engaging learning moments and brings STEAM learning to life through real-world application,” says Kimberly Beaudin, President and Chief Executive Officer for the College Football Hall of Fame. With this hands-on activity Playbook, students can experience the unique exhibits and interactives at the Hall of Fame from anywhere. Whether it’s in the classroom, on the football field or at home, kids of all grade levels are going to learn while having fun.” 

This updated curricula was made possible by title sponsor, the United States Air Force, and supporting partner, Medical Properties Trust.  The STEAM Playbook aligns with the Georgia Standard of Excellence and national standards for science, technology, engineering, art and math.

The College Football Hall of Fame’s mission is to use its position as a trusted authority within college football to educate, inspire, entertain, and connect audiences while honoring the people, traditions and passion of the game. The STEAM Playbook is a new vehicle that brings its mission statement to life for Hall of Fame guests, especially students, educators and parents.
