Monday, March 21st, 2022

The Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta (Federation) recently announced that Regions Bank (www.regions.com) will be the presenting sponsor of its upcoming Community Journey to Israel 2023.

“As Jews and Federations from around the world anticipate Israel’s 75th birthday, we are honored to receive support from Regions Bank as we work to produce this milestone experience for the Atlanta Jewish Community,” shared Federation’s President & CEO, Eric M. Robbins.

The 2023 Community Journey to Israel is scheduled for April 17-23, 2023. The trip is timed to coincide with the celebration of Israel’s 75th anniversary of independence and will conclude right before the Jewish Federations of North America’s General Assembly in Israel.

“This represents a unique opportunity to experience first-hand several important sites that are foundational to Jewish culture, while also deepening an understanding of the historic significance of Israel’s rebirth as an independent nation in 1948,” said Bill Linginfelter, Metro Atlanta market executive for Regions Bank. “Regions is proud to collaborate with the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta to offer people the chance to not only learn more about – but also to take part in – global history.”

The trip will offer multiple tracks to appeal to a wide variety of travelers. Adventure seekers, first timers, foodies, and those with political or tech interests will explore Israel through the lens of their personal passions. All tracks will come together as a community for unique group programming. Event chairs are currently gathering input from prospective travelers to create inspiring itineraries that capture the vitality, chutzpah, and miraculous spirit that built “Innovation Nation.” To learn more, visit: https://jewishatlanta.org/event/federations-2023-community-journey-to-israel/
