ATL Airport Chamber Staff Receive Service Awards
March 22 – 23, 2018, the ATL Airport Chamber’s President and CEO and Staff attended the Georgia Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives Staff Development Conference. The conference was held at Georgia College in Milledgeville, Georgia, with more than 180 attendees from across the State of Georgia. ATL Airport Chamber’s Administrative Assistants, Diane Dimmick and Gilda Watters, were among 13 staff professionals to receive service awards for their five years of dedicated service to the Chamber of Commerce Industry.
Carmenlita Scott, ATL Airport Chamber President and CEO, facilitated the conference’s membership professionals meeting. Dimmick and Watters attended workshops on timely topics including innovative programs, membership and volunteer retention, social media, communications, and how to make trends work. They benefited greatly from the networking, professional development, and insight on where Chambers are headed in the future.
