Hartsfield-Jackson Wins Two 2020 Airport Service Quality Awards
Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) earned the 2020 Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Awards for “Best Airport by Size and Region (over 40 million passengers per year in North America)” and “Best Hygiene Measures by Region (North America).” Awarded by Airports Council International (ACI), the ASQ Departures program has become the world’s leading airport passenger satisfaction benchmark with close to 400 airports participating across 95 countries. This is the inaugural year for the Hygiene Measures category.
Established in 2006, the ASQ Awards recognize and reward the best airports in the world according to ACI’s ASQ Departure Survey and the ASQ Arrivals Survey. ASQ is the only global airport survey that measures passenger satisfaction while customers are at the airport. ASQ interviews 670,000 passengers per year prior to boarding their flight, asking them to rate their satisfaction with the airport’s services.
“We thank the Airports Council International for recognizing ATL with the 2020 Airport Service Quality Awards for Best Airport in North America over 40 million passengers, and Best Hygiene measures in North America,” said Airport General Manager John Selden. “This recognition represents the hard work of our entire airport team who strive to deliver the best possible experience for our passengers every day.”
